So they say that fiction stories take precedence over the things that happen around in the author’s reality. Well, writing the book, I can see how that can have some truth. The story starts with the resentment of San Antonio, TX. Due to the things she lost in her life in Houston, TX. The nostalgia that has her appreciation that she couldn’t see upon her return entirely after seeing her hometown for what it is the song that reminded her of her childhood friends. To not give the backstory away is ultimately the memories that this song brings in Chapter 4, which is why. Today’s song of the day is Jennifer Lopez’s “Waiting for Tonight.”
