As stocism is one of the thing I possess when it comes to dealing with adversity. And in those lessons, I gain knowledge, forgive, become grateful, take accountability, apologize in hurting those who I have along the way, always aim to do the right thing, give a helping hand when I can, have empathy, and above all have gratitude on the things that I do.

Social norms has it problems. Seeing the things that occurred in my world and calling it out for what it is in my small world made me see all the problems that we all face in todays society. Which at first glance you would if you didn’t know me personally, one would assume that I am a negative person. On the contrary, I am one of those most happiest and most positive people. The list goes on an on. But I don’t think you want to hear a list of things about me. As we live in a society where people live faux happy lives, here is the list of qualities of what to look for in happy people according to PsychologyToday.com https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/what-matters-most/201311/the-5-happiness-strengths:

In my research for this blog post, these are the most relevant things that have increased in the matter of years. Which in my hypothesis is social norm stigmas.

The Things That Have Gotten Worst Over Time

One of things that we see most of in social norms at the moment at this time is the act of unfairness. Through stereotyping and discrimination. However there is more than just this crime that has gotten worsted throughout the years as the list of problems in social norms don’t stop there. In my research for this blog post, these are the most relevant things that have increased in the matter of years. Which in my hypothesis is social norm stigmas. Which is the perfect topic for my thesis topic for my masters and/or doctorate certificate. In this new found journey. God, Higher Power and the Universe willing. Which is the act of anti social behavior. Which is the number one problem in current society. Here are the things that have gotten worst throughout the eras in social norms:

  • Anti social behavior
  • Poverty
  • Drug abuse
  • Prostitution
  • Racial discrimination
  • Alcohol abuse
  • Economic Deprivation
  • Political Corruption
  • Unemployment
  • Sexual abuse
  • stress
  • Rape
  • Early pregnancy
  • Female genital mutilation
  • Animal abuse
  • The shortage of schools
  • The lack of infrastructure
  • Bullying
  • Obesity
  • High crime rate

The Correlation in this Social Dilema

Continuing the research, I found one thing that had one common denominator in this research. I found that the acts that occur in all these signs is the act is the act of anti social behavior. Where in many published thesis articles that this results to one common factor. The act of fear. Where when we discuss the qualities in tomorrow’s blog, shows that this all leads to anti social behavior. Which many of the acts in anti social behavior is an act to keep dangers out of your life. Which one common act of anti social behavior that sticks out like a sore thumb, is that most severe cases of anti social behavior is owning dangerous dogs or animals. Which if you think about it the act of keeping physical defenses up to ward off dangers. Which shows in retrospective, that those possess that have fear in the world around them. Which in the beginning, I remember that the stigma was that when you were anti social, you were low key crazy. Which in the end bit us in the ass when quarantine hit. As people only see people who choose their own company more over the bad company of others. We all at one point where gaslighted to think that. As the act of needing social interaction has gotten into the growing numbers it has.

But if you look at in hindsight, not admitting you have something and continue to lie to yourself about the reality you live. Makes you even crazier. As you’re afraid of everything. And when you trust the wrong person, you also begin to gain a fear of trusting others. Which in the end makes you more and more anti-social.

In the end it’s apparent that society has a huge problem in this time is that anti-social behavior based on fears, which Neuroscience News has confirmed. Check out the link https://neurosciencenews.com/fear-intimation-antisocial-behavior-15402/. Which ironically enough, when it begins in childhood and when those who don’t resolve their unresolved issues. Tend to carry those behaviors into adulthood. But why do we not make an effort to correct these things? Because one of the many stigmas that social norms makes us conform too, is that if you don’t follow these idealisms. Or don’t think in the same mainframe. You’re crazy. Not a “I just got shit to resolve crazy.” Like “mental hospital” crazy. But if you look at in hindsight, not admitting you have something and continue to lie to yourself about the reality you live. Makes you even crazier. As you’re afraid of everything. And when you trust the wrong person, you also begin to gain a fear of trusting others. Which in the end makes you more and more anti-social.

“Did we truly become an entitled society?” And the next question that arises in this same question is “Are we truly a selfish society that doesn’t care about the suffering of others?” Which is why the idealism of “Empathy bias” is a concern in the Science of Psychology.

Everyone is afraid of something. Even I am sometimes. The truth is of course their is so much to worry about in these times of trouble. As human trafficking has been one of the most common things that occurred. Which began to way before it started hitting the mainstream news. Which only came about because it’s been around since the 1200’s. Which the only reason why it’s a huge concern and an issue, because it’s hitting closer to home. Where the question that you have to ask yourself is “Did we truly become an entitled society?” And the next question that arises in this same question is “Are we truly a selfish society that doesn’t care about the suffering of others?” Which is why the idealism of “Empathy bias” is a concern in the Science of Psychology.

While many of those who automatically resolve have one motive in their mind. Which the subconscious brain reacts automatically in “helping those” in the motivation of preventing others from being hurt as well. Which if we look at the behavior patterns of those who flee, will be more likely from dodging confrontations and running away from problems instead of resolving problems head on.

There was a Tik Tok Video that I saw that was very disturbing to watch. Which was a social experiment that showed what people did in the face of an attempted human abduction. Which many stood up and attempted to stop it, while many fled from the scene to try to escape harms way. Which more than likely, resulted in a fear of being a target. Which is why many avoid helping those in the present of danger. We think about our own safety, before of any. While in a disturbing situation, some watched it play out doing nothing. Which in a situation of unresolved issues, this is what occurs in the presence of danger, which is called the bystander effect. Which the subconscious brain begins to tap into a similar situation of danger and begins to have us react the way that we do. While many of those who automatically resolve have one motive in their mind, which the subconscious brain reacts automatically in “helping those” in the motivation of preventing others from being hurt as well. Which if we look at the behavior patterns of those who flee, will be more likely from dodging confrontations and running away from problems instead of resolving problems head on.

You have to ask yourself something in these acts. “When are you going to stop running and face the problems head on to find a solution?” “Do you want to spend your whole life running?”

You are obligated to feel and do as you please, as I never get in the way of free will. You have to ask yourself something in these acts. “When are you going to stop running and face the problems head on to find a solution?” “Do you want to spend your whole life running?” Which if you reflect on time when faced with a serious threat in confrontation, the automatic response is to run away. Where if the danger seems to be minimal, we end up defending ourselves in an easier flight. Which turns into a way of boosting our egos to prove to ourselves that we are more inferior. But in a situation where we lose a fight to someone we assume is less inferior, we end up going back to anti-social behaviors. To protect ourselves from those danger. Where in a state where desperation takes it’s toll in a inferior situation. And those in desperate situations occur to try to get out those bad situations. Corruption rears its ugly head. In the promise of a life if they fight an evil cause.
